Practice Makes Braver

I believe leadership isn’t about adding more fluff—it’s about becoming more yourself.— Annie Woods

You’ve already proven you can perform.

You’ve built the career, led the team, advised the clients, kept the family business on track.

From the outside, it works.

But under the surface, something’s shifted.

The way you show up no longer matches who you are now.

And when that gap grows, even the most capable leaders start to feel off-center.

That’s where I come in.

I help leaders, advisors, and change-makers bring their presence back into alignment with their power.

For over 10 years, I’ve been the person high-capacity people call when the old ways of operating stop working.

The work we do together isn’t about more performance—it’s about more truth.

We don’t add a new mask.

We strip away the ones that no longer fit.

You get to know yourself to make room for others.

My WHY

I believe leadership begins the moment you stop performing and start practicing.

For me, that lesson didn’t come in a classroom—it came through some of the biggest transitions of my life.

When I immigrated to the U.S., I stepped into a world where I didn’t know the rules and didn’t have the safety net of familiarity. I had to build a life from scratch. Then, as a new mother, I faced another identity shift: suddenly the things that used to define me no longer fit. Later, stepping into leadership roles and starting my own business, I was confronted with the same question again and again: Was I going to keep doing what wasn’t working—or was I going to change?

Each moment was a choice to shift or get off the pot.

And the truth is, I didn’t always get it right.

I’ve been seen as unapproachable when what I wanted was connection.

I’ve pushed hard with the best of intentions, only to watch the outcomes land wrong.

I’ve worked in spaces where my voice wasn’t valued, and I stayed quiet longer than I should have.

That took a toll. Until I realized: there was something I could do about it.

The real turning point came when I got honest about my fears and limitations—not as flaws to hide, but as signals pointing me back to myself. Immigration taught me resilience. Motherhood taught me surrender. Entrepreneurship taught me courage. Leadership taught me humility.

Those lessons became the foundation of how I coach today.

Because you can’t lead with clarity until you’ve faced your own blind spots.

You can’t connect with others until you know how you’re protecting yourself.

And you can’t create change until you’ve learned to tell the truth—even when it’s uncomfortable.

That’s why I do this work. To help leaders, advisors, and families move through the same kinds of turning points—without wasting years caught in patterns that don’t serve them.

Because practice makes braver. And bravery is what turns transitions into growth.

Who Do I Serve?

  • The Consultant or Advisor who is brilliant at guiding others but ready to lead themselves with the same integrity.

  • The Individual in a Pattern Break who’s tired of looping in the same strategies and ready for new ways of showing up.

  • The Family Business Consultant who needs a trusted ally to hold the emotional side of the room without losing sight of the plan.

  • The Organizational Leader who’s outgrown parts of how they operate and is ready to align leadership with who they are now.
