For Family Business Advisors
The communication layer your multidisciplinary team is missing.
Your documents are ready.
Is the family?
You bring the legal structure, the tax planning, the valuation, the governance documents. Then the family meeting starts, and the real obstacle isn't in the documents. It's in how the family talks to each other.
That's where I come in. I'm a certified FFI family business advisor, an Enneagram practitioner, and an IFS-informed coach, and my specialty is communication. I work alongside legal, financial, and governance advisors so the plan you design is one the family can actually carry out.
What I bring to your engagement
Facilitation of the hard conversations, in English and Spanish, so you can stay in your lane as counsel or financial advisor.
Enneagram insight into what drives each family member, so proposals land the way you intend.
IFS-informed coaching for individual leaders who freeze, rescue, or push harder under pressure.
G3 leadership development: preparing the next generation to lead with voice, credibility, and a seat at the table.
Clear handoffs: I share what I'm seeing (with client consent) so the whole team works from the same picture.
How we'd work together
I work in two phases, which keeps your scope clean and the family's investment focused.
Phase 1: Discovery and alignment.
Individual conversations with family members and leaders, a read on communication patterns and Enneagram dynamics, and a shared picture of what's really in the way. You get a clear brief before the team designs anything.
Phase 2: Facilitation and development.
Facilitated family meetings, communication agreements, and coaching for leaders, including G3 leadership development, timed to your governance and legal work so each step supports the next
I'm already part of a team
I currently work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes a family business advisor specializing in systems thinking and corporate law. I know how to share the room, respect scope, and keep a complex engagement moving.
